One series, a thousand emotions… and a dream destination
For ten days – and as many episodes – five young men and five women criss-cross the streets of Nice in search of love. No smartphone, no GPS, no filter… Just them, their emotions, and an enchanting city as a backdrop. In this unprecedented experience, lonely hearts cross paths, seek each other out, and sometimes find each other… at the turn of a glance, a stroll or a letter slipped into one of the letterboxes in the Maison Margaux restaurant, the meeting point for their handwritten exchanges.
Far from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, the dating apps and screens that are omnipresent in their daily lives, these ten singles discover a different way of finding love. And it’s abroad, here in Nice, between sea and mountains, that their stories take shape. For some, it will be a life-changing encounter. For others, it’s a pleasant diversions on the road to self-knowledge. From the infinite blue of the Baie des Anges to the vibrant lanes of Vieux-Nice, via hilltop villages and secret coves, each place visited becomes the scene of heartfelt emotions.
“This series highlights the beauty and diversity of the landscapes of Nice and the Côte d’Azur, serving as the perfect backdrop for these emerging love stories.”
An invitation to write your own screenplay…

What if you, too, were to follow in their footsteps? We’re not promising you that you’ll find love, but that you’ll discover a vibrant and dazzling destination, whatever the season.
The main places that dazzled the participants
-> Place Masséna and Fontaine du Soleil
The beating heart of Nice… and the scene of love’s first thrills.
It’s on the geometric flagstones of Place Masséna that the Offline Love contestants meet day after day, between discreet rendezvous and unexpected encounters. Surrounded by Italian-style arcades, bathed in light and punctuated by passing trams, the Place Masséna becomes the living backdrop for suspended moments.
Between hesitations, stolen glances and incipient smiles, love slowly begins to take root at the foot of the majestic Fontaine du Soleil. Under the benevolent eye of Apollo, god of light and arts, emotions are awakened. And it’s no coincidence : this is the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site. So it’s hard to think of Aru, alone and staring out at the horizon… hoping that Nanami will eventually join him (day 9).

-> Promenade des Anglais, Quai des États-Unis and Vieux-Nice
From a blue chair to the ochre streets : the soul of Nice
The Promenade des Anglais winds its elegant ribbon along the Mediterranean, inviting you to stroll between palm trees, pebbled beaches and azure light. The sea comes in all shades of blue, as if a painter had emptied his palette here. Blue chairs invite contemplation…
In its extension, the Quai des États-Unis offers a breathtaking view of the Baie des Anges, set ablaze every evening by the golden reflections of the setting sun – a sight you’ll never tire of. The giant #ILoveNice structure is an Instagram-worthy spot.
Just a stone’s throw away, the Vieux-Nice unfurls its authentic charm: narrow streets, ochre facades, colourful markets and the scents of Italy, artisan stalls and vintage boutiques, Baroque churches and chapels. These emblematic places form a magical triptych that combines natural beauty, a living heritage and sweet life. A must-see, they capture the very essence of the Côte d’Azur. It was here, on the blue chairs or under the pergolas, that Mimi and Atsushi sought each other out and found each other again (day 9)… These places were visited by all the participants.

-> Castle Hill Park and Port of Nice
When the landscape becomes emotion…
Nanami and Kensuke meet up at the foot of Castle Hill Park (day 9). Together, they climb the stairs to the top of this place suspended above the old town, a veritable balcony overlooking the sea. Away from the hustle and bustle, facing the peaceful immensity of the Baie des Anges, time seems to slow down. Words become rare, silences eloquent… The golden light caresses the stones, the red roofs tumble into the azure sea, and Nice is revealed in all its splendour: a breathtaking view, between the sky and the Mediterranean, with a waterfall whispering words of love in the background. It was in this inspiring setting that Sho and Kanaka settled down on the lawn (day 5), to give free rein to their emotions and translate them into colour on canvas. Below them, the Port of Nice embodies Mediterranean elegance in all its magnificence.

-> Gare du Sud and Marché de la Libération
In the Libération district, life in Nice is in full swing
Smells, colours, market noises… the Libération neighbourhood embodies the vibrant, popular soul of Nice. Its open-air market, full of colour and scents, awakens the senses every morning in a friendly, authentic atmosphere. Just up the steps, the majestic Gare du Sud, magnificently restored, blends architectural heritage and modernity with its lively gourmet market. This lively, friendly district has a charming local atmosphere and a lifestyle that’s 100% Nice. It’s a great place to get a taste of real Nice life, where tradition meets renewal. Places visited by Sho (day 1) and Nanami, Kensuke, Maho (day 3).

-> Gardens and Monastery of Cimiez
A peaceful interlude in the bourgeois Cimiez district of Nice
As soon as she arrived in Nice, Kanaka chose to get away from the bustle of the city centre and take a stroll in the Cimiez gardens, a haven of peace in the hills above town (day 1). Surrounded by century-old olive trees, flowering rose bushes and towering cypresses, she strolled in silence, lulled by the gentle Mediterranean air.
She will marvel at the Franciscan Monastery, its stone arcades and serene cloister, not forgetting the breathtaking view of Nice and the sea from the terraced gardens. And of course, the Musée Matisse which since 1953 has been offering an intimate insight into the artistic creation of the master Henri Matisse. Matisse is buried in the nearby Cimiez cemetery. A visit out of time, where nature, heritage and silence intertwine – perfect for starting an adventure where emotions take precedence over words.

-> Parc Phoenix
In the serenity of the Parc Floral Phoenix, emotions blossom at their own pace…
Mimi and Atsushi opted for a soft, plant-based atmosphere on Day 6 at the Parc Phoenix, a veritable oasis in the heart of Nice. Between tropical greenhouses, peaceful pools and Mediterranean gardens, the duo stroll among palm trees, orchids and exotic birds. In this green setting, time stretches out and conversations deepen. Carried away by the peaceful atmosphere of the place, every smile becomes more sincere, every silence more complicit. A moment suspended in the midst of flowers… where nature becomes the discreet witness to their budding emotions.

-> Eze-Village, between sky and sea
Sky, stone and panorama: love on a cliffside
Nanami and Kensuke take a romantic break in the medieval village of Èze (day 8). Clinging to the side of a cliff, this jewel of the Côte d’Azur, nicknamed the “eagle’s nest”, offers an atmosphere that is both intimate and spectacular. Strolling along its cobbled streets lined with ancient stonework and flowering bougainvilleas, the two protagonists discover a strikingly photogenic setting, conductive to a feeling of confidence. Their stroll takes them to the Jardin Exotique, perched at the very top of the village, where the panoramic view over the Mediterranean is simply breathtaking, before continuing with a most romantic lunch on the terrace at Château Eza, a five-star hotel-restaurant as prestigious as it is discreet, set in a historic residence. Facing the sparkling sea, between azure sky and golden stones, every moment seems timeless, and you’ll find yourself dreaming of being alone in the world…

-> Saint-Jeannet and Domaine des Hautes Collines de la Côte d’Azur
Between earth, stone and passion
Tohko and Kensuke take to the sky in Saint-Jeannet (day 5), an emblematic hilltop village overlooking the Côte d’Azur. They are welcomed by the owners of Domaine des Hautes Collines de la Côte d’Azur, a family-run winery nestling at the foot of the Baou (a rocky promontory overlooking the valley or the sea). Here, as they make pissaladière (a Niçoise tart with onions) and taste local wines and specialities of Niçoise cuisine, the conversation really gets going. Between bursts of laughter, knowing glances and authentic flavours, bonds are forged as glasses are filled… and hearts are opened. A warm and sincere moment, just like this unique place.

-> Villefranche-sur-Mer
Faced with the sea, words find their rightful place.
Nanami and Yudai got on an electric bike and rode along the coast to Villefranche-sur-Mer (day 5), a charming little town to the east of Nice, before settling down on the quayside for a terrace lunch overlooking the most beautiful harbour in the Mediterranean. Deep and majestic, its intense blue waters unfold between green hills and colourful facades. In this picture-postcard setting, between dancing boats and golden light, conversations become more intimate. Time stands still. And perhaps love begins to slip between the words… No one can remain insensitive in front of this landscape. Want to bet?

-> Isola 2000
Head for the summits with a life-size getaway to Isola 2000, the iconic ski resort in the Southern Alps. Kanaka invites Sho, Kensuke chooses Nanami : two duos for the same discovery. Between ski descents, snowball fights, shared laughter and gourmet breaks in front of the snow-covered peaks, the bonds warm up under the winter sun.
In this high mountain setting, just 1h30 from Nice and the sea, emotions take on a whole new dimension. The dazzling white of the snow contrasts with the gentleness of the exchanges, the gestures become more tender, the glances more frank. A frosty interlude… where hearts melt gently.

“In my opinion, never before has a TV or film programme declared its love for Nice Côte d’Azur so strongly…”
